This locks in our quoted pricing even if material prices rise in the future. After signing the contract and paying a standard 40% deposit we can schedule the fence replacement project start date.

Demolition and Removal

On project start day our crew will use proper safety gear and equipment to neatly take down the old fence. We cut out and remove fence posts, pull nails from boards, stack reusable materials onsite, and promptly haul away debris leaving the area clear.

Any surrounding landscaping disturbed in the process will be restored to its prior condition. Proper demolition protects workers, prevents damage and prepares for the new construction.

New Fence Layout and Prep

With full access to the perimeter we will lay out the footprint for the new fence according to property boundaries and code requirements. For precision spacing between posts we use layout strings and stakes or spray paint markers. Slight adjustments may be made from the original plan if needed.

The fence builders prep the site by leveling high/low areas and digging proper post holes per structural requirements—generally 30-36 inches deep and about three times the width of the post.

Gravel and reinforcement materials are added to stabilize posts and prevent future shifting. Proper site prep and layout prevents many issues down the road with gate operation, loose pickets or leaning posts.

Fence Material Delivery

New Fence Installation

With demolition completed and materials ready to go, our fence builders commence constructing the new fence. For wood fences we cut rails, pickets and post tops onsite for precision fit. Metal, vinyl and other prefab fence systems involve securing posts, hanging the framework and assembling gates.

As sections are completed we ensure proper alignment, spacing consistency and gate functionality checking for level and plumb. The last steps are adding decorative post caps and latches followed by final cleanup duties. We work carefully to control noise, minimize impact to your yard, and keep the work area organized.

Inspection and Payment

Once the fence install is fully complete, we will walk the property with you pointing out key aspects and answering questions. This is your opportunity to inspect the project, test latches/locks and gates, and confirm that work meets your expectations. If any minor defects or deficiencies are noted we will resolve them on the spot.

With a successful inspection passed and cleanup finished, we submit the final invoice amount. Payment of the remaining balance less the deposit is then due upon receipt.
